Yesterday, the team of the Ukrainian Association of Simulation Medicine, including UASHC President and Executive Director of Simulation Medicine at UFPMO, Oleksandr Litus, along with association representative Mykola Litus, visited
Lietuvos Sveikatos Mokslų Universitetas (LSMU) and its Medicininės Simuliacijos Centras – one of the most advanced simulation medicine centers in the region.
This center is a true high-tech environment for future doctors, where training takes place in the most realistic settings. It allows for practicing emergency situations, resuscitation, complex clinical cases, and team coordination in conditions as close to real-life as possible.
A particularly valuable part of the visit was the meeting with Prof. Kęstutis Petrikonis – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at LSMU, and Dr. Andrius Macas, MD, PhD, FESAIC – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at LSMU.
A special thank you to Greta Kasputytė, Head of the Simulation Center, for her hospitality and a detailed tour of the Medicininės Simuliacijos Centras facilities.
