EVENT OF THE YEAR IN UKRAINIAN SIMULATION TECHNOLOGIES.
We invite you to the International Forum Simulation Technologies in Health Care Forum 2026, which will be held over two days, May 15-16, 2026, in a offline format and will bring together the best Ukrainian and foreign experts in this field. Ukraine is moving forward despite epidemics and wars, a new field of medicine is emerging in our country, and scientific forums are finally returning to a live format. The forum will be a unique platform for communication, exchange of experience, and knowledge sharing, where leading experts from around the world will discuss the latest trends and innovative technologies in the field of Simulation in Health Care.
The annual forum is organized by the Ukrainian Association of Simulation Medicine (UASHC) in collaboration with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Associations (UFPMA).
The Ukrainian Association of Simulation in Health Care is currently affiliated with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), one of the largest and most influential organizations in the world promoting simulation methods in medicine and other fields related to public health, it brings together more than 60 international associations.
Currently, this non-profit organization has also received the status of an affiliated structure with SESAM (Society for Simulation in Europe). SESAM is an international organization that brings together professionals in the field of simulation medicine and medical education. Its mission is to promote innovation, exchange of experience, and implementation of simulation technologies to improve the quality of medical services.
There is indeed much to discuss in the field of Simulation Technologies in Health Care! In today’s world, medical students often face difficulties in gaining access and mastering new skills directly on patients. Doctors who already have their medical practice, also need to regularly improve their professional knowledge and skills. All this can be achieved without unnecessary stress and anxiety, with any number of repetitions to reinforce the learned skill, using only simulation in Health Care!
Students, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and even the general public are all potential clients of a simulation center.
In addition, Simulation Technologies in Health Care are constantly evolving: every day, new approaches to the implementation of simulation in Health Care appear. Yesterday, it was just mannequins and phantoms, but now it is actors professionally trained for simulation in Health Care, and simulation using augmented and virtual reality.
How can a modern simulation center be organized in the realities of Ukraine? What equipment should be chosen in order to keep up with global trends? How can regular training of medical workers in such centers be organized? How can such training be legally formalized in the Ukrainian postgraduate education system?
