A delegation from the Ukrainian Association of Simulation Healthcare (UASHC) visited one of Romania’s leading centers for simulation-based education — the Centrul de Aptitudini Practice şi Simulare în Medicină at the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca.
UASHC President and Executive Director for Simulation Medicine at the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and Medical Organization (UFPMO), Oleksandra Lytus, along with association representative Mykola Lytus, had the opportunity to explore the center’s advanced infrastructure and discuss prospects for the development of simulation medicine.
The delegation was particularly impressed by the high level of advancement in all types of laparoscopic diagnostic and treatment methods, which are actively integrated into the educational process for training future physicians.
👥 During the visit, a warm and productive meeting was held with Prof. Dr. Răzvan Ciortea, during which potential avenues for future cooperation between the institutions were discussed.
We believe that international collaboration and experience exchange play a key role in enhancing the quality of medical education in Ukraine and across Europe.
