The team of the Ministry of Health, led by Minister Viktor Liashko, has long been addressing the importance of simulation medicine in Ukraine, and we sincerely thank them for this.
The Ukrainian Association of Simulation Medicine, established to unite all those interested in this field, has actively raised awareness on this issue in recent months and has received broad support, including from the Ministry of Health!
Last week, we had the opportunity to meet with Serhii Ubohov, Head of the Department of Medical Personnel, Education, and Science of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and present him with a certificate of appreciation for his significant contribution to the development of simulation medicine in Ukraine!
During the meeting, we discussed the key strategic directions for the development of simulation medicine:
✅ development of a concept for the advancement of simulation medicine in Ukraine
✅ implementation of modern simulation methods in the training of future medical specialists and beyond
✅ use of simulation technologies to enhance practical skills
✅ integration of simulation elements into the process of verifying professional competencies
This collaboration will be an important step toward improving the quality of medical education and healthcare services in Ukraine.
